The Structured Credit Products Group at KBC FP is focused on arranging and managing synthetic and cashflow CDO transactions and other structured vehicles which invest in corporate credits, asset-backed securities and leveraged loans.
Since inception in 2001, the group has structured and brought to market 15 managed synthetic and cashflow CDO transactions and an asset-backed securities (ABS) conduit amounting to over $26.5billion in assets under management. Through these vehicles the group evaluates and invests in corporate credits and leveraged loans globally, as well as multisector ABS, including many varieties of CDO notes in the market.
In addition to structuring and managing these CDO transactions, KBC FP's Structured Credit Products Group retains up to 100% of the equity of these transactions as an investor. Over its history, the group has established a strong track record with solid equity performance, zero credit events in any of the CDO transactions' portfolios, and no downgrades to any of its issued notes.
The transactions structured and managed by the Structured Credit Products Group access risk globally as the team itself operates out of the London and New York offices. These transactions are also marketed to a global investor base.
