Human Resources

As a key player in a worldwide team of Human Resources and Compensation and Benefits professionals, you are responsible for a broad range of activities and play a critical role in managing the firm’s most important asset, its people. This team impacts multiple areas including recruitment, retention, risk management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management and management information.

IT Development

Design, develop and implement business-critical systems across all teams from sales and trading through to settlements. A passion for technology, core skills in object oriented design and a comprehensive knowledge of a primary O-O language (C#, C++, Java) are essential; understanding of relational databases and experience with a second language (including Python and Perl) are a plus.

IT Infrastructure

Be part of a team that supports, administers and develops enterprise grade networking, telecom, database & operating systems & applications. A keen interest, strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced team environment are required.

Legal & Compliance

Assist in structuring, documenting and negotiating a wide array of financial products. Be at the forefront of all the legal issues and multinational financial institution needs to think about and help us in maintaining state-of-the-art compliance procedures.

Middle Office

The Middle Office supports the derivatives business to ensure that KBC FP’s transactions are accurately reflected in our systems. You will deal with external counterparty and internal queries regarding the valuations, positions and settings for both vanilla and exotic trades. The Middle Office is also responsible for producing and explaining the moves in the daily profit and loss, and for managing all derivative contract documentation.

Operations

Be responsible for the processing and control of KBC FP’s sales and trading activities, as a member of a global team. Interaction is with external clients, counterparties and custodians and internally with all other areas of the firm. You will gain an overall understanding of the securities and derivatives business.

Quantitative Analysis

Gain experience in applying advanced mathematics to model financial derivatives. Graduate level mathematics, C++ and a keen interest in numerical analysis are required.

Research

Be involved in the High Yield Research team who cover 13 industry sectors which include automotive, gaming and broadcasting. Analysts in this area are client-facing and work on independent and thoughtful research in the secondary market. And a focus on relative value and insightful analysis rather than academic research.

Risk Management

Join a team covering the full range of our firm’s trading activities, worldwide. Based on the trading floor, you will be working closely with trading staff to monitor risk and build new methodologies that keep pace with a fast changing business. You will develop an understanding of KBC FP’s commercial activities and evaluate them in the context of risk/reward. Sales

KBC FP’s sales teams are the firm’s interface to a global institutional client base. We market a wide range of products, equities, convertible bonds & equity linked instruments. Sales forms a valuable part of the broking process, working closely with trading and research. Energy and enthusiasm are a must!

Trading

As part of a team of professionals, you’ll be trusted with the firm’s capital to negotiate the ups and downs of the financial markets. Assist senior traders to monitor and analyse market data, take split-second decisions, and execute market transactions – and keep pace with the latest financial products, some of them developed by your colleagues.
